Our Story

I’ve always enjoyed reading on holiday and in those little pockets of free time, but if I’m being honest, I often found myself reaching for my phone instead of a book. Somewhere along the way, reading started to feel like something I meant to do rather than something I naturally made time for.

I also realised I’d fallen into a bit of a comfort zone reading Colleen Hoover after Colleen Hoover. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it, but I wanted to be pushed outside my usual choices and discover books I’d probably never pick up on my own like, id never even read a fantasy book (wild btw, love them now).

On top of that, I really wanted a group of like-minded girls, a space for good books, a glass of wine and a little monthly yap session. Something relaxed, welcoming and fun. Bringing all of that together felt like the perfect combination, and that’s how the book club came to life.
